Gerzensee is a municipality in the Bern-Mittelland administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. History
The first written record of Gerzensee dates back to the year 1262. The village was part of the Herrschaft of Worb, which was under the authority of the city of Bern. In the 19th century, the village experienced a significant economic upswing due to the construction of a railway line connecting Bern to Thun. Today, Gerzensee is primarily a residential community with some small businesses.
